ACLS Update Course 

Friday, June 8, 2018 (08:30-17:00) 

This one-day course is directed at health-care practitioners who have previously taken an ACLS course and wish to update themselves. The course reviews the current management of cardiac resuscitation.


Civic Campus, 1053 Carling Avenue, E-Main, DEM Conference (Coughlin Room) #DM-197 and DEM Teaching Rooms


1. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider through the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) within 1 year if the ACLS couurse
2. Obtain and read ACLS provider manual
3. Complete the pre-course assessment on HSFC Website
4. Good knowledge of rhythm recognition and ACLS drugs training, basis of ECG and rhythm interpretattion

Prior to May 25, 2018 - full refund (less $75.00 admin fee), on or after May 25, 2018– no refund unless an alternate person can be found.

The Department of Emergency Medicine maintains the right to cancel this course at any time without penalty. A full refund will be given if this occurs.

IMPORTANT: Before you register please ensure that you have or will have a BLS course within the last year and that it is registered on the HSFC resuscitation portal.
